1. Purpose

The purpose of this Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is to ensure that GemBox Ltd. can continue critical operations in the event of an emergency, disruption, or disaster. The company follows a redundancy-first approach, ensuring no single point of failure.

2. Scope

This plan covers all essential functions, including software distribution, customer support, development, legal matters, and financial transactions. Given that GemBox is a fully remote company with cloud-based infrastructure, physical office disruptions do not apply.

6. Disaster Response Procedure

6.1 Communication Plan

• In case of a major disruption, employees and contractors will be notified via company email and phone.
• If the primary contact (Josip Kremenic) is unavailable, Marko Kozlina and Zeljko Svedic will assume emergency decision-making authority.

6.2 Alternative Operations

• If GemBox Ltd.'s main website is down, customers can download software from NuGet and GitHub.
• If email support is disrupted, phone support will remain available.
• If one payment method fails, alternative payment providers will be used.

7. Testing & Review

• This Business Continuity Plan will be reviewed annually or after any significant operational change.
• Disaster recovery drills will be conducted as needed to test system resilience and employee preparedness.

8. Final Responsibility

• Josip Kremenic, as Director and co-owner, is the final responsible authority and will have the last decision in all business continuity matters.
